Experience the vastness of the wineries in Sonoma, Alexander and Russian River Valleys. The wineries here are much more spread out than Napa Valley, so those of you who love scenic country drives, make sure to visit Sonoma County. The line-up shown below gives you an example of our standard Sonoma Valley Tour.  Tour times are flexible, but typically start at 9:00 a.m., and conclude around 6:00 p.m. This itinerary can be modified to accommodate your needs. 

 

ALEXANDER & DRY CREEK VALLEYS OVERVIEW

First your tour guide will give you an overview of the two side-by-side valleys, including the vineyards, appellations and geography; to lay a foundation on which you can build as you progress through your day.

FERRARI CARANO

Wine Tasting and Garden Tour. This extravagant winery is owned by Reno hotel owners, Don and Rhonda Carano, and is surrounded by 5 acres of meticulously landscaped theme gardens. Wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Fume Blanc, Zinfandel, Meritage, Sangiovese, Pinot Noir and dessert wines.

A. RAFANELLI WINERY

Wine Tasting. A. Rafanelli is a small production winery that creates exceptional Zinfandels and Cabernet Sauvignons. Wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Meritage, Petite Sirah and Merlot.

LUNCH

Lunch of your choice will be selected from the Gintown deli and served on premises or at winery overlooking vineyards.  

JORDAN VINEYARD

Wine Tasting. This Bordeaux-style chateau in Alexander Valley is built on 1,500 acres. which include over 240 acres of vineyards and 1,000 acres of game reserve for migratory birds. Wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Sparkling Wine.

MURPHY-GOODE ESTATE WINERY

Wine Tasting. Murphy-Goode produces a very attractive line of well oaked, flavorful wines.   Wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Fume Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel, Pinot Blanc and Merlot.

HANNA WINERY

Wine Tasting and Stunning View of the Valley .  Wines: Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.

TRANSPORTATION 

You will be transported around The Wine Country in a new luxury touring van. Guests staying in Sonoma will be picked up at any Sonoma County establishment. A convenient rendezvous location can be arranged for San Francisco guests. 

PRICES AND PAYMENT 

Standard tour prices are $140.00 per person.  Groups with under 6 people will be combined with other small groups unless you specify otherwise. Groups with only 1 or 2 people who wish to book a private tour, without any other groups combining with you, are subject to a $400.00 minimum charge. Package prices can fluctuate depending on requested modifications to the standard tour packages. Payment can be made in advance or at the conclusion of the tour by Check, Travelers Checks and cash.
